Madhubani (Bihar): Clear weather and improved air quality has revealed a breathtaking sight from the border of Jainagar in Bihar, Majestic “Mount Everest” the snow-clad Himalayan range was standing tall and visible to everyone.
Jainagar is located on the banks of the Kamla River, which originates from a glacier in Nepal along the India-Nepal border, the town is culturally vibrant where the world’s highest peak appears directly in line on the map.

Online users have highlighted that the best time to see the ranges is from Vasant Panchami to Holi and Durga Puja to Kartik Purnima, when the air remains crisp. They have expressed awe at the rare phenomenon, which last occurred during the 2020 lockdown when reduced pollution levels allowed similar visibility.
