A man from Uttar Pradesh claimed that his wife turns into snake at night and tries to bite him. The incident has gone viral on social media.
In a bizarre case, a man claimed that his wife transforms into a snake at night and tries to bite him in Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred at Lodhsa village in the Mahmoodabad area from Sitapur district.
The man reportedly made this bizarre complaint during Samadhan Diwas, a public grievance session where residents usually raise issues related to electricity, roads or ration cards.
The man alleged that his wife has attempted to harm him multiple times while he was asleep, causing him severe mental distress.
Concerned for his safety, he submitted a written application to the District Magistrate detailing the incidents and requesting action.
Further, the District Magistrate ordered an investigation and directed the Sub-Divisional Magistrate and local police to look into the complaint.
Police have reportedly begun inquiries treating the case as a potential instance of mental harassment.
The case quickly gained attention on social media, where users reacted with humor and references to popular culture, including the 1986 film ‘Nagina’, in which the late actress Sridevi played a shape-shifting serpent.
