Anhui Province: People all over the world were shocked and widely shared videos and pictures of the major traffic jam that was witnessed in China as vacationers returned home.
According to reports, the aerial footage showed thousands of cars lined up at the 36-lane Wuzhuang Toll Station in Chuzhou, in Anhui province as the holiday and vacation season ended.
Drone footage showed the chaos where cars spread out into dozens of lanes before squeezing back into a four-lane bottleneck at the toll gates. Many media reports said that, the jam was experienced for almost 24 hours.
The videos of the traffic jam is China was widely shared on all social media platforms. Users gave various comments such as, “Chaos looks beautiful when you are not in it.”
“Well when you have 32 lanes that merge into 6… I mean what do you expect,” said another user. “So where did everybody go to the bathroom?” hilariously asked another user.
