The emotional video, filmed by her father and shared on the Chinese social media platform Douyin has moved millions online.

The little girl, affectionately known as Thirteen, had received the palm-sized AI robot as a gift from her father.

Over time, she grew deeply attached to it. The robot could chat, play music, set alarms and even teach her English and basic astronomy. It was more than just a toy, it became her closest friend.

The bond between the two came to an abrupt end when Thirteen accidentally dropped the device, damaging its power button.

Before shutting down completely, the AI robot reportedly delivered a series of comforting messages to the girl, encouraging her to stay curious, study hard and remember their happy moments together.

The robot’s final act was to teach Thirteen the word “memory,” symbolizing the friendship they shared.

Thirteen’s father later confirmed that Sister Xiao Zhi had been sent for repairs expressing hope that his daughter’s cherished companion would soon return.

The video of her tearful farewell quickly spread across social media, receiving over 3.8 million likes with users praising the child’s pure emotions and the father’s tender effort to capture the moment.
