A member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council, Sanjeev Sanyal, has gone viral once again for his joyful dance moves while breakdancing to a devotional bhajan in praise of Lord Hanuman. In the video which went viral shows Sanjeev breakdancing to “Mere Kesari Ke Laal” at the Swarajya Conclave 2025 New Delhi.

The economist’s dynamic movements on stage in front of a full audience have entertained many, with some users making light of his multi-talented personality. One user joked, “Imagine being the guy who helps the PM sort out the economy, updates history textbooks, and then breaks a move to Ram bhajans.” Others applauded his energetic nature, with one post likening him to a “20-something boy living life.”

The viral video offered a sense of amazement and amused many, revealing the more playful side of Sanyal who was otherwise known for tough work on economic policy and history.
