MP IAS officer Sanskriti Jain gets a unique farewell by colleagues

Bhopal: MP IAS Officer Sanskriti Jain was given a grand, unique, and royal farewell by her colleagues as she was transferred from her post as the collector of Seoni district. Her colleagues were seen shouldering a palanquin in which she was set.

She was given a farewell accompanied by her two daughters before she departed for the new posting in Bhopal, where she would serve as the Commissioner of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) along with the additional charge of Additional Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited.

The farewell was part of an official event where Seoni’s new Collector Sheetala Patle was welcomed, and Sanskriti Jain was given a heartwarming and royal send-off.

Sanskriti Jain, a 2015 batch IAS officer, had served as the Collector of Seoni for nearly a year and got transferred along with 11 other district collectors as a result of an administrative reshuffle by the Madhya Pradesh government.

In her stint as collector of Seoni, she earned widespread respect as she was known for her accessibility, administrative efficiency, and public outreach. As a gesture of gratitude, locals gave her a farewell that stood out, symbolising the emotional bond she had built with the community.

The post with a picture on X by @Abhikhandekar1 goes viral, where people are congratulating her and calling it a marvelous achievement, saying they have never seen such a type of satisfaction among staff towards the boss.
