A diver narrowly escaped from getting strangled by an octopus in the sea. This was seen in a recent video that has gone viral now. After being posted to X platform the said video has so far earned more than 235k views.

As seen in the video, a diver reaches the seabed and retrieves an octopus lying on the ground. However, as he pulls it out, the octopus wraps its tentacle around the diver’s neck while attempting to strangle him with its other tentacles. The diver is forced to drop his fishing rod and grapple with the sea creature that’s trying to suffocate him.

On the seabed, the diver struggles to break free from the octopus’s grip, but the animal maintains a firm hold around various parts of his face. Eventually, the diver decides to ascend, and after considerable effort, he manages to free himself from the octopus’s clutches.

Shared by user Amazing Nature to X platform today evening at about 5.47 pm, the post has so far managed to grab a huge 235k views within these couple of hours. The caption of the post reads, “The diver’s composure ensured his survival.”
