Child takes birth after 30 years in a village of Italy!
The village, where cats outnumber people, had grown accustomed to silence, but Lara's arrival has brought new life and hope.
Reports suggest a tiny village in Italy’s Abruzzo region is rejoicing after a 30-year wait for a newborn. Lara Bussi Trabucco was born in March in Pagliara dei Marsi, a small rural village on the slopes of Mount Girifalco, bringing the population to around 20.
The village, where cats outnumber people, had grown accustomed to silence, but Lara’s arrival has brought new life and hope.
The christening ceremony, held in the church opposite Lara’s home, was attended by the entire village, including several cats.
Her mother reportedly said people who didn’t even know the village existed are visiting just to see Lara, making her a local celebrity.
