Youth killed, 3 students injured as school bus, bike collide in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district
Following the accident, the injured students were admitted to Raighar hospital.
Umerkote: In a tragic incident a youth was killed while three students sustained injury after a school bus and a bike collided head-on in Nabarangpur district of Odisha on Wednesday. The accident took place near Ganjapar.
The deceased youth has been identified as Samaru Gonda of Turudi village in Nabarangpur district.
As per information, a private school bus of Raighar block of the district was carrying about 20 students today when it got collided head-on with a bike near Ganjapar area.
As a result of the accident, the bike rider was killed on the spot while three students of the bus sustained injury. Following the accident, the injured students were admitted to Raighar hospital.
After getting information, Police reached the spot and initiated investigation. Police have detained the school bus driver while further probe of the case is underway.
