Youth killed, 2 others including a girl critical as bike hits tree in Odisha’s Kandhamal

Phulbani: In a tragic incident, a youth was killed while two others including a girl, sustained critical injury following a bike accident in Kandhamal district of Odisha on Friday morning. The accident took place near a bridge in Tikabali area.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
As per information received, three persons were travelling in a bike today. They were going towards Tikabali from Burbinaju when the rider lost control over the steering and hit the bike to a roadside tree.
Accordingly, one person was killed on the spot only while the other two sustained critical injury.
After getting information about the road mishap, the fire services department rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to the Tikabali Hospital for autopsy.
The injured persons have been shifted to Phulbani hospital for treatment.
