Tigiria: In a tragic incident in Cuttack district of Odisha, two people who were undergoing treatment due to a firecracker explosion in Tigiria have succumbed to their injuries.
According to reports, there was a blast under Tigiria police station jurisdiction in Athgarh block of Cuttack district in Odisha while firecrackers were being made. In the explosion two people identified as Popun Behera and Biplab Sahu of Tigiria village under Tigiria police station jurisdiction were injured.
The incident has taken place around four days ago. The two were making firecrackers in the village when an unexpected firecracker blast occurred. After the explosion, the two were first shifted to Tigiria hospital and then to a private hospital in Cuttack as their condition was critical.
After being treated for four days in the private hospital, it is reported that they breathed their last today.
