Two minor boys meet watery grave in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district

Rairangpur: In a tragic incident two minor boys drown in a pond in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha on Thursday. The incident took place in the Chadripahadi village under Rairangpur Rural Police Station limits.
One of the deceased boys was eight years old and the other one was 9 year old.
As per reports, the two minor boys had gone to the village pond to take bath. When they were taking bath somehow their leg slipped and they were pulled into the deep water.
Following the incident, the locals informed the Fire services Department. Accordingly, the firemen reached the village and fished out the bodies of the two children.
A pal of gloom has descended in the village following the sad demise of the two children.
