Shocking! Youth axes father to death in Odisha’s Deogarh, detained

Deogarh: In a shocking incident, a youth allegedly axed his father to death in Deogarh district of Odisha on Wednesday. The incident took place in the Outal village under Barkote Police Station limits in the district.
The deceased father (62) has been identified as Balaram Behera and his accused son has been identified as Hrudananda Behera.
As per reports, the youth got agitated today and took out an axe. He then attacked his father with the axe. Accordingly, his father was killed on the spot.
After getting information Police reached the spot and detained the accused son. By the time this report was written, Barkote Police were guarding the body as they were waiting for the scientific team to collect evidences.
The cause of the attack is yet to be ascertained.
