Shocking! Son kills father in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district
After his father's death, his body was taken to his native village Chilantikhol in Deogarh district and buried. The truth was found after accused’s sister lodged complaint and police investigated to find the truth
Jharsuguda: In a shocking incident, a youth allegedly killed his father in Jharsuguda district of Odisha on Saturday. The incident took place in the Baratap village under Lakhanpur Police Station limits in the district.
The accused son has been identified as Bidyadhar Patta. The deceased father has been identified as Bimbadhar Patta.
As per the information, the youth attacked his father on the head with a leg of a dining table. As a result, Bimbadhar lost his life.
After his father’s death, his body was taken to his native village Chilantikhol in Deogarh district and buried. Accused Vidyadhar told everyone that his father died due to falling from the stairs. However, the accused’s sister suspected and filed a complaint at Lakhanpur police station.
The police registered a case and investigated and arrested the accused son Bidyadhar. Police also seized the leg of the dining table used in the murder.
Along with this, the police have exhumed the buried body of the deceased Bimbadhar and handed it over to the family members.
