A minor girl has allegedly been sexually harassed in the capital city Bhubaneswar late Friday night, informed Police Commissioner S. Dev Datt Singh.
Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a minor girl has allegedly been raped in the capital city late Friday night, informed Police Commissioner S. Dev Datt Singh. The girl has been admitted to the Capital Hospital in a critical condition.
Police Commissioner S. Dev Datt Singh informed that the victim was rescued in a critical condition from the roadside in Ashoknagar area under Capital police station late last night. The police has filed a medico legal case (MLC ) and the girl is receiving treatment. He said that the victim has not provided any information about the perpetrators yet.
He further informed that the police registered a case on their own after receiving information from the Capital Hospital regarding the incident.
According to the police, the minor girl is a resident of Bihar. She was rescued from the roadside in Ashoknagar area with multiple injuries on her body. The girl’s condition is critical and she is receiving treatment.
