Odisha government has reportedly transferred several senior Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers and given them new appointments.

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has reportedly transferred several senior Odisha Administrative Services (OAS) officers and given them new appointments.

As informed by the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department in a notification , Sibo Narayan Sahu, OAS (SS), Deputy Director General (Admin.), Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar is transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, PA Department.

Likewise, Soojata Mesra, OAS (SS), Special Secretary to Government, ST & SC Development, M & BCW Department, UoT as Special Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department is allowed to continue as Special Secretary to Government, ST & SC Development, M & BCW Department.

  • Prafulla Kumar Swain, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary, CMGC, UoT as Additional Secretary to Government, Steel & Mines Department is allowed to continue as Additional Secretary, CMGC.
  • The posting of Prafulla Kumar Swain, OAS (SAG) as Additional Secretary to Government, Steel & Mines Department, made vide GA & PG Department Notification no.26428/SCS dated 02.08.2025, is hereby cancelled.
  • Sashank Sekhar Dash, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary to Government, GA & PG Department is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Government, Health & FW Department.
  • The additional charge of Additional Secretary to Government, H & UD Department assigned to Smt. Durgesh Nandini Sahoo, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary to Government, PA Department is hereby withdrawn.
  • Dharmendra Mallik, OAS (SAG), Additional Commissioner, Excise, Odisha, Cuttack is transferred and posted as GM, OTDC, Bhubaneswar, on foreign service terms & conditions.

  • Ashok Kumar Das, OAS Gr.A (SB), Deputy Secretary to Government, ST & SC Development, M & BCW Department is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, BMC, Bhubaneswar, on foreign service terms & conditions.
