Rourkela: Body of missing NIT student found, watch
The deceased student has been identified as Dipesh Pradhan. He was doing his PhD in the Department of Mathematics at Rourkela NIT.
Rourkela: The body of a missing NIT student has been found today in Sundargarh district of Odisha. The body was recovered from near the Baisnbahal Balighat (sand lifting Riverbed) in Sabdega area.
The deceased student has been identified as Dipesh Pradhan. He was doing his PhD in the Department of Mathematics at Rourkela NIT.
As per information, Dipesh had gone missing on Saturday afternoon while he was swimming along with his 4 friends in the Kanha Kunda of the Ib river. Accordingly, a search operation was going on since Saturday afternoon to trace out him. The search operation was carried out by the ODRAF team from Jharsuguda and Rourkela along with the local fire brigade.
Today, his body was recovered after 5 days.
