Ratna Bhandar inventory shifting from tomorrow! Srimandir darshan to remain suspended
The Ratna Bhandar inventory shifting will begin from tomorrow and will proceed as per the SOP of the government.
Puri: The much anticipated Ratna Bhandar inventory shifting of Puri Jagannath temple will begin from tomorrow. As per the guidelines issued, the process will begin on September 23 for which the darshan of general public will be suspended.
According to information, the Natamandap and Jagamohan will be cleansed before the inventory shifting of Ratna Bhandar of Srimandir. This process will begin from 10.00 am in the morning tomorrow. Thus the darshan of devotees have been suspended.
The entry to the Jagannath temple and the Jhulana Mandap premises will be banned. The restrictions will remain in force till the Ratna Bhandar shifting is completed. The inventory of the inner treasures will be matched with the inventory list of 1978.
Darshan will be continue after the inventory shifting. Devotees can take Mahaprasad from Anand Bazaar. The temple administration has requested the devotees to cooperate.
The Ratna Bhandar Ganatimanati will be done as per the SOP of the Odisha government. Two senior and experienced officials of Reserve Bank of India have been appointed for this. A high level meeting will be held after the Managing committee meeting for the inventory list.
Following the repair and restoration, the Ratna Bhandar is completely ready. It will be safe for at least 200 years said the ASI.
