Puri: SJTA to set up Digital Library to preserve Madala Panji, rare temple records

This unique initiative seeks to safeguard the timeless heritage of Shree Jagannatha Temple

Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) in Puri of Odisha will set up a Digital Library to preserve Madala Panji and other rare temple records as well as palm-leaf manuscripts. This was informed by Arabinda Padhee, the Chief Administrator of SJTA in an X post on Thursday.

As per the information, the upcoming Digital Library will preserve rare temple records, rituals, the sacred Madala Panji as well as the palm-leaf manuscripts and more. Devotees and researchers can digitally access it.

The X post reads as follows: ‘With the blessings of Mahaprabhu, SJTA is going to set up a Digital Library to preserve rare temple records, rituals, the sacred Madala Panji, palm-leaf manuscripts and more, while providing digital access to devotees and researchers. This unique initiative seeks to safeguard the timeless heritage of Shree Jagannatha Temple.”
