Police SI exam: All 114 arrested candidates barred from appearing in exam, deal cracked at Rs 25 lakh per aspirant
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Police sends tough message to the candidates. All the 114 candidates arrested will be barred from appearing in the examination.
Odisha Police has taken a strong stance against the Police SI paper leak. In this regard as many as 114 aspirants have been barred from taking the exam in the future.
According to information, the deal had been finalised at Rs 25 lakh per aspirant. The total scam of Rs 29.25 crore has come to light in this police SI scam. The Police SI candidates were being taken to Hyderabad on the pretext of getting job.
Acting on intelligence inputs from the Police Headquarters, a Police team led by an additional SP went to Andhra Pradesh. The police rescued the candidates while they were going to Hyderabad. The firm had also collected money from them.
The Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) had announced to postpone the exams on September 30 after the candidates were caught from the Srikakulam border while being taken to Hyderabad.
