Police finds audio recording of Subhamitra and Deepak just before her murder
Police has found a 40-minute long audio clip of an argument between Subhamitra and Deepak just before her murder.
Bhubaneswar: Police revealed that accused Deepak Rout and Subhamitra, the traffic constable had an altercation for 40 minutes before her death in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar.
There was a 40-minute scuffle between the two inside their vehicle at Unit 6 in Bhubaneswar. During the scuffle, Subhamitra allegedly kicked Deepak and abused him using foul language.
In a fit of rage, Deepak asphyxiated Subhamitra to death. The police have found the audio clip of Subhamitra abusing Deepak during their fight in the car. There is an audio clip of Deepak abusing Subhamitra .
After the death of his first wife, Deepak had received insurance money of more than Rs 1 crore. Subhamitra was demanding 20 lakh rupees from that money.
This money became a bone of contention in their relation and Deepak and Subhamitra often used to fight over this. Deepak did not want to share the insurance money with Subhamitra. Thus to kick her out of his path he hatched a plan to kill her.
Deepak already knew that he would not get money by killing her. Accused Deepak revealed many interesting facts during the polygraph test. The police are waiting for the polygraph test report.
Subhamitra went missing and then after investigation it was found that she was killed by her husband Deepak Rout, whom she had married secretly. He allegedly killed her on September 6 in Bhubaneswar.
