Police conduct flag march in Cuttack for Durga puja and Bhasani
Cuttack DCP and the ACPs of all zones joined the flag march while patrolling bikes and police vans were also included.

Cuttack: Police conducted flag march in Cuttack of Odisha today for upcoming Durga puja and Bhasani, the immersion procession of the idols, Cuttack DCP Rishikesh Khilari informed.
As per reports, Commissionerate Police conducted flag march in Cuttack on Saturday ahead of the famous Durga puja. The march started from Cuttack railway station. The flag march went around the city and ended at the Purighat Devi Gada.
Cuttack DCP and the ACPs of all zones joined the flag march while patrolling bikes and police vans were also included.
It has been learnt that a total of 70 platoons of police force will be deployed in Cuttack city during Durga Puja. Naka checking arrangements have been made at 10 places. Special arrangements are being made for the security of Chandi Medha, the silver tableau.
The Commissionerate Police has formed a special team to keep a close watch on theft, snatching and robbery. An advisory has also been issued for traffic management, informed the DCP.
