Police busts interstate bike racket in Mayurbhanj, 4 bikes seized
Police busted an interstate bike lifting racket from Mayurbhanj based on the complaint of bike theft. Four bikes have been seized and 2 have been arrested
Mayurbhanj: The Police have busted an interstate bike robbers racket from Badasahi area under Khunta police limits in Mayurbhanj district. As many as four bikes have been seized.
The robbers would loot the bikes and then hand it over to the mastermind of their bike racket. They would receive Rs 10,000 in exchange for each bike.
According to information, these stolen bikes would be then smuggled to other states. The police have arrested 2 interstate robbers from Badasahi area.
The matter came to light, after police received a bike theft complaint. The police started an investigation into the bike theft complaint and busted the racket. Four stolen bikes have been seized from the arrested two robbers.
Santosh Kumar Singh and Sujit Kumar Singh of Shaalpathara village under Badasahi police station have been arrested.
These two robbers had come from Sapanchua area on September 28 to steal two bikes and fled leaving their bikes behind. Based on which the police investigated and arrested them.
However, the mastermind of this interstate robber gang is absconding. The police are conducting raids at various places to arrest him.
