People from Sheragada meet LoP Naveen Patnaik, allege partisan policing

Bhubaneswar: A delegation of residents, BJD leaders, and workers from Sheragada block in the Hinjili Assembly constituency met BJD President and Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas on Thursday.

During the meeting, they raised concerns over alleged government apathy towards development works and a partisan approach in law and order, claiming harassment of BJD workers.

The delegation also highlighted stalled projects, unfilled teacher and doctor posts, issues in paddy procurement, and difficulties in accessing welfare schemes.

Meanwhile, Patnaik expressed concern over administrative lapses and assured that the issues would be taken up with the district administration, while urging stronger grassroots engagement.
