Parked goods laden truck catches fire in Cuttack while unloading
The dal laden truck with registration number OD29F-9077 caught fire last night when the driver was sleeping inside it with a mosquito coil.
Cuttack: A goods-laden truck suddenly caught fire and reduced to ashes. The truck was parked in the godown when it suddenly caught fire in Cuttack since last night.
According to information, the truck bearing registration number OD29F-9077, loaded with dal, caught fire when it was parked in the warehouse for unloading. The driver was sleeping inside the truck with a mosquito coil.
At about 04:10 am, a fire broke out in the truck due to the mosquito coil and subsequently spread. Cuttack and Chauliaganj Fire Station personnel promptly attended the call and extinguished the fire completely.
In another incident in Gop of Puri district, an electric vehicles showroom suddenly caught fire. Over 20 electric vehicles were reduced to ashes before the fire brigade reached the spot. The incident happened around 5.00 pm on Wednesday.
