Owner of suspicious car detained in Senior lawyer Pitabas Panda death case
Police spotted a car in several CCTV footages in Pitabas Panda death case and has detained the owner for investigation.
Bhubaneswar: A car spotted near the house of senior lawyer Pitabas Panda before his murder was under the police scanner. The owner of the car has been detained by the police for interrogation. The police had spotted the car from several CCTV footages.
Whether the car was following the bike of the shooters or the Pitabas Panda is yet to be found out. Police is investigating the matter from this angle.
It is to be noted that as many as three people have been detained for questioning in this murder case.
A six-membered police team has been formed to catch the murderer. The police is examining CCTV footages from many places and are interrogating criminals. A criminal named Sunil is under the scanner of the police.
Meanwhile, the police suspect that this murder was committed in connection with the sand, gravel, moram and land business and settlement.
