OTET Exam: Odisha Teachers’ Eligibility Test to be held on December 17, watch

Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha is set to conduct the Odisha Teachers’ Eligibility Test (OTET) on December 17 across the state. A total of 1, 60,379 candidates, including in-service and aspiring teachers, are expected to appear for the exam.

Srikant Tarai, President, Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, informed about the exam today.

As per the information, the OTET exam will be held in two papers, with 47,720 candidates registered for Paper 1 and 1, 12,659 candidates for Paper 2.

To ensure a smooth and fair examination process, 452 exam centers have been set up across the state, all equipped with CCTV enabled systems. The exam centers will be monitored from the board office command control room.

Security measures are in place, with question papers and OMR sheets being sent to the DG locker from December 14. The question papers will be transported on 39 routes covering 30 districts, accompanied by armed police personnel.
