Odisha’s Suakati Gram Panchayat gets Jury Award during 28th National Conference on e-Governance
In a matter of great pride for the people of entire Odisha, the Suakati Gram Panchayat in Keonjahr district has been conferred with the Jury Award during the 28th National Conference on e-Governance in Vishakhapatnam.
Bhubaneswar: In a matter of great pride for the people of entire Odisha, the Suakati Gram Panchayat in Keonjahr district has been conferred with the Jury Award during the 28th National Conference on e-Governance in Vishakhapatnam.
During the conference, the National Awards for e-Governance 2025 was conferred upon 19 exemplary initiatives. These awards included 10 gold, 6 silver, and 3 jury award- across six categories- awarded to Central.
One of the Jury Awards was conferred on Suakati Gram Panchayat led by Kautika Nayak, Sarpanch/Pradhan, alongwith the team of officials.
Union MoS (PMO, Personnel, PG & Pensions) Dr. Jitendra Singh presented the award to Kautika Nayak in the presence of Sribharat Mathukumilli, MP (Visakhapatnam) and V. Srinivas, Secretary, DARPG (Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances).
This recognition highlights the role of Gram Panchayats as drivers of digital transformation, bringing governance closer to people and setting benchmarks for rural development.

Meanwhile, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated the Suakati Gram Panchayat for the achievement. “Congratulations to Suakati Gram Panchayat, Banspal Block, Keonjhar for clinching the Jury Award under National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG) 2025. A proud moment for #Odisha showcasing the power of grassroots digital governance and rural transformation. #OdishaLeads,” Majhi wrote in an X post.
