Odisha Police SI recruitment exam scam: Crime Branch arrests fifth broker Arvind Das
The Crime Branch arrested Arvind Das from Navara village under Singla police station limits in Balasore district of Odisha.
Balasore: In the Odisha Police SI exam scam case Crime Branch on Sunday arrested the fifth broker named as Arvind Das.
The Crime Branch arrested Arvind Das from Navara village under Singla police station limits in Balasore district of Odisha. He has been arrested after interrogation. Evidence of his link with the said scam has been found.
Meanwhile the Crime Branch has intensified its crackdown. Crime Branch raided and sealed the online exam center Lingaraj Info Sol in Raghunathpur, Bhubaneswar on the link of kingpin Shankar Prushti. However, the investigation team has not been able to reach Shankar Prushti and Muna Mohanty yet.
Earlier the Crime Branch has already arrested key members, including Bishwa Ranjan Behera. A special team has been formed by the police to arrest the main conspirators in this case. Yesterday the Chief Secretary had conducted a high level meeting in this regard.
