Odisha Govt to appoint 6387 retired teachers as guest teachers in High Schools, Sanskrit TOLs
The tenure of the Guest teachers will be up to March 2026 or joining of new teachers, whichever is earlier.
Bhubaneswar: As many as 6387 retired teachers will be engaged as guest teachers in high schools and Sanskirt TOLs. The School and Mass Education Department of the Government of Odisha issued a letter in this regard.
The 6387 numbers of retired teachers will be engaged as guest teachers in Govt/ Fully Aided? Block Grant High Schools and Sanskirt TOL Schools of the State for the Academic Year 2025-2026.
The tenure of the Guest teachers will be up to March 2026 or joining of new teachers, whichever is earlier.
After joining of TGTs in the school, guest teachers will not continue in the school and they may be re-engaged in other schools where there is vacancy and will be limited wirhin the vacancy reported by the DEOs.
For engagement o Guest teachers in Sanskrit TOL schools, retired IACT and Matric-CT teachers of Sanskrit TOLs can be taken into consideration.
