The Finance Department of Odisha government has invited suggestions from the public for preparation of the upcoming budget 2026-27.
Bhubaneswar: The Finance Department of Odisha government has invited suggestions from the public for preparation of the upcoming budget 2026-27.
It is to be noted here that the Finance Department has been preparing the budget in advance by taking feedback from representatives from various sections of the society.
In recent years, the state government has made the budget preparation more open and participatory through the use of information and communication technology and for this, the Finance Department has been collecting feedback through e-mail, Whatsapp and SMS through a dedicated web portal https://budget.odisha.gov.in/.
Similarly, the Department has sought suggestions from the public who can send their suggestions by e-mail to [email protected]. Likewise, the budget-related suggestions can be sent through WhatsApp to mobile number (+91)9438161111 and through social media X (@FdOdisha), Facebook (@FinanceOdisha) and Instagram (@fdodisha).
Public, civil society, various stakeholders and other stakeholders can send their suggestions for preparation of the budget 2026-27 till January 31, 2026.
