Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today appealed to the public not to visit his office to convey New Year greetings, stating that January 1 is a regular government working day and official work will continue as usual.

Taking to his X handle, the Odisha CM said his office would function normally on the first day of the New Year and requested well-wishers to avoid courtesy visits that may disrupt official work.
He also urged government employees to refrain from participating in greeting or felicitation programmes during office hours and to focus on their official responsibilities.
Expressing gratitude for the goodwill and support of the people of Odisha, CM Majhi said he remained thankful to citizens and well-wishers for their continued trust and affection.
The Chief Minister further requested those wishing to extend greetings at his official residence not to bring gifts or bouquets, stating that their goodwill and blessings were more than sufficient.
CM Mohan Majhi concluded his message by extending New Year greetings to the people and invoking the blessings of Lord Shri Jagannath for peace, prosperity, and well-being.
