Odia Jatra actress Sonali Panda's husband, Srikshetra Prasad Samanta Singhar, has been arrested after the actress lodged a complaint against him.
Brahmagiri: Odia Jatra actress Sonali Panda’s husband, Srikshetra Prasad Samanta Singhar, has been arrested after the actress lodged a complaint against him on Sunday.
The actress has alleged that Shreekhetra had sexually assaulted her. The actress had formally lodged a compalint in Balichadrapur police station first then she again filed a FIR in Krushnaprasad police station.
The accused, identified as Shreekhetra Prasad Samanta Singhar, has been arrested by Krushnaprasad police from Bhubaneswar.
Police officials said Shreekhetra was picked up from the Forest area of Bhubaneswar and later placed under formal arrest after following due legal procedure. He is currently placed in the Puri district police headquarters.
