Nuapada: Ex-CDVO, statistical enumerator arrested by Odisha Vigilance for embezzlement of Govt. fund
They have been arrested for embezzlement of government fund to the tune of approximately Rs 18 lakhs
Nuapada: Trilochan Dhal the Ex-CDVO of Nuapada district of Odisha and Ashok Kumar Dau, the statistical enumerator at the office of the CDVO, Nuapada have been arrested by Odisha Vigilance today.
They have been arrested for embezzlement of over Rs. 18 lakhs government funds that had been sanctioned under the National Adaptation Funds for Climate Change (NAFCC) by transferring the same to their personal account and misappropriating.
As per the information received, today i.e. on 25.09.2025, Trilochan Dhal, Ex-CDVO, Nuapada and Ashok Kumar Dau, Statistical Enumerator, O/o CDVO, Nuapada have been arrested by Odisha Vigilance for misappropriation of Govt. money over Rs.18 lakhs by way of transferring the same to the personal account of Dau allotted under National Adaptation Funds for Climate Change (NAFCC).
In this connection, Koraput Vigilance PS Case No.29/2025 U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(a) of PC (Amendment) Act, 2018/409/120-B IPC has been registered against Trilochan Dhal, Ex-CDVO, Nuapada and Ashok Kumar Dau, Statistical Enumerator.
