Nuapada by-election: Formal notification issued, nomination filing begins
The voting will be done on the 11th November, 2025 (Tuesday).
Bhubaneswar: The formal notification for the Nuapada by-election in Odisha has been issued. The nomination filing process has started with issuance of the notification. The state Chief Election Officer has informed about this.
While the nomination filing process has started from today candidates can file their nomination papers to the Nuapada Sub-Collector. The nomination process will continue till the 20th October.
The 22nd October, 2025 (Wednesday) is the date for the scrutiny of nominations while 24th October (Friday) is the last date for withdrawal of candidatures.
The voting will be done on the 11th November, 2025 (Tuesday).
Complete arrangements have been made for this. Strict security arrangements have been made for 47 sensitive booths in Maoist-affected areas for the election. Helicopters have been arranged for polling personnel to reach 8 booths. 14 companies of Central Armed Forces will be deployed for the election management.
