No possibility of cyclone for Odisha: IMD DG Mruntanjay Mohapatra
There is no possibility of a cyclone in Odisha said the Director General of Indian Meteorological Department.
Bhubaneswar: There is no possibility of a cyclone for Odisha informed IMD DG Mruntajay Mohapatra.
The Joint Typhoon Warning Centre (JWTC) had predicted that there is a possibility of a cyclone over the Bay of Bengal. However, IMD had said that the low pressure will develop into a deep depression.
There is no possibility of any cyclone clarified IMD DG. He further said, “The windspeed is likely to remain at 75 kmph. Very heavy rainfall is expected from today evening and will continue till midnight.”
He also said that there might be a possibility of flood like situation. But there is no possibility of a cyclone even in the next seven days predicted DG Mruntanjay Mohapatra.
