Odisha government today effected a major reshuffle among the IAS officers and gave new appointment to several of them, informed the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department.
Bhubaneswar: Odisha government today effected a major reshuffle among the IAS officers and gave new appointment to several of them, informed the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department.
The major IAS reshuffle took place just a day after senior IAS officer Anu Garg assumed the charges of Odisha Chief Secretary. With this, she became the first woman to hold the post.
As per the notification issued by the department, Satyabrata Sahu, IAS(RR-1991), Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Home Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department has been appointed as Member, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack.
Likewise, Deoranjan Kumar Singh, IAS (RR-1993), the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue & Disaster Management Department with additional charge of Member, Board of Revenue, Special Relief Commissioner, Odisha, Managing Director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority and Chairman, Odisha Forest Development Corporation is appointed as Development Commissioner-cum- Additional Chief Secretary and Secretary to Government, Planning & Convergence Department.
Besides, Singh is allowed to remain in additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue & Disaster Management Department.
Similarly, Hemant Sharma, IAS (RR-1995), the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Industries Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, I&PR Department and Chairman, IPICOL is allowed to remain in additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Home Department.
Shubha Sarma, IAS (RR-1999), Principal Secretary to Government, Women & Child Development Department is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Water Resources Department.
Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, IAS (RR-1999), Principal Secretary to Government, Excise Department with additional charge of CMD, OPTCL and Chairman, OSBCL is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department.
Rajesh Prabhakar Patil, IAS (RR-2005), Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Co-operation Department with additional charge of Chairman, Odisha State Warehousing Corporation (OSWC) and Special Secretary to Government, Housing & Urban Development Department is allowed to remain in additional charge of Special Relief Commissioner, Odisha and Managing Director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority.
Madhumita Rath, IAS (SCS-2015), Additional Secretary to Government, School & Mass Education Department is appointed as Collector & District Magistrate, Nayagarh.
In exercise of the powers conferred under section 14(1) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the State Government do hereby appoint Rath as the District Magistrate in the district of Nayagarh.
Akshay Sunil Agrawal, IAS (RR-2019), Collector & District Magistrate, Nayagarh is appointed as Collector & District Magistrate, Gajapati.
In exercise of the powers conferred under section 14(1) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the State Government do hereby appoint Agrawal as the District Magistrate in the district of Gajapati.
