Misled by Google Maps, Truck enters village and rams into house in Bhadrak
A truck entered a village by mistake and drove into a house on Thursday while following Google Maps in Digachia of Chandbali block in Bhadrak.
Bhadrak: A truck entered a village by mistake and drove into a house on Thursday while following Google Maps in Digachia of Chandbali block in Bhadrak district.
According to reports, a truck was heading towards the Dhamara port while following the Google Maps app as the driver was unaware of the direction. Mislead by the app, he entered the Digachia village by the Patra Sahi road from the Bhadrak-Chandbali main road. The truck was unable to maneuver in the narrow village road and rammed into the house of one Ramesh Das.
The agitated villagers informed the Bansada police about the incident. On being informed, the police reached the place and managed to calm the angry villagers and brought the situation under control.
The police has seized the vehicle.
