Miscreants open fire near Bhubaneswar Math, two injured
Two miscreants opened fire near a Math in Bhubaneswar. As many as two people have injured in the four rounds of firing.
Bhubaneswar: In an unfortunate incident, group of miscreants opened fire near a Math in Bhubaneswar. The firing took place at the Deulia patna Bhai-Bhai Math under Infovalley police station in Bhubaneswar outskirts.
According to information, two masked miscreants opened fire in which one person is critical while another one is injured.
The critically injured has been identified as Sunil Kumar Barik of Chanrapur. The other man has been identified as Ashok. Both the injured has been rushed to AIIMS Bhubaneswar and are undergoing treatment.
After the incident, both of the miscreants fled the scene after firing four rounds of bullets. The incident has been captured on CCTV for which investigation is underway.
Police is yet to ascertain the reason of the crime, however, the locals have said that it is regarding some dispute due to land encroachment.
It is worth mentioning here that during Navratri, there was a small scuffle in the same area. This small incident led to a major firing last night.
