Two ATMs–one each from the United Bank of India (UBI) and State Bank of India (SBI)–were found vandalized at Dhamara Square this morning by some locals. While the glasses of the front panel of the machines were seen broken, the locks were also seen damaged due to repeated attempts by the looters to of break open those.
Authorities of both the banks reached the spot and checked the machines later in the morning.
Manager of the United Bank of India, Dhamara branch has confirmed that no amount of cash has been stolen from the ATM as the miscreants had failed to open the locks.
