Miscreants attack noted litterateur near Bhubaneswar Rly Station, snatch mobile phone

A case has been lodged in this matter at Laxmisagar Police Station in Bhubaneswar.

Bhubaneswar: Miscreants attacked a noted litterateur cum teacher near Bhubaneswar Railway Station today and snatched away his mobile phone. He has been admitted to hospital in a critical condition. A case has been lodged in this matter at Laxmisagar Police Station in Bhubaneswar.

The victim litterateur has been identified as Dwiti Chandra Sahu from Rayagada.

As per information, miscreants attacked the litterateur with a wooden plank at the back side entrance (near platform number 6) of Bhubaneswar Railway Station on Monday and snatched away his mobile phone.

Following the attack, the teacher sustained critical injury. He was rushed to the Capital Hospital for treatment.

His younger brother has lodged a complaint in this regard at Laxmisagar police station.

The teacher had come to Bhubaneswar from Rayagada for some work.
