Massive fire at cosmetic shop in Balasore causes loss worth crores
A massive fire erupted at a huge four story cosmetic shop named "Banaja Bangals " in the city in the early hours of Wednesday.
Balasore: A massive fire erupted at a huge four story cosmetic shop named “Banaja Bangals ” in the city in the early hours of Wednesday. The fire has spread to all the four floors of the shop. On being informed, a fire fighter team arrived at the scene and is trying to contain the flames.
According to sources, the cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit in the shop. The flame has also spread to the transformer outside the shop.
The exact extent of the damage is yet to be assessed. However, as all the four floors of the shop are caught under the flame, it is estimated that the loss could be in crores of Rupees.
All the materials inside the shop including expensive cosmetic items, gifts, home decoration items, and some home appliances worth crores of rupees have been burned to ashes.
