Maoists kill 2 including teacher in Odisha-Chhattisgarh border, watch

Malkangiri: Maoists have reportedly killed two persons including a teacher in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh in Odisha-Chhattisgarh border adjacent to Malkangiri district. The incident took place in Kusalna village in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh.

As per reports, Maoists killed two persons including a teacher in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh bordering Malkangiri district. This Maoists’ brutal attack in the area is ahead of the second phase of the Panchayat elections.

Reportedly, the Maoists had earlier threatened the local people to boycott the Panchayat elections.

Following the incident, terror gripped the local area.

Keeping the elections in mind, the police have intensified the search operation after the incident.
