Bhubaneswar: In a major welcome news for those wanting to get their land demarcated, they will not have to wait in queues at the Tehsil office any longer. The land demarcation process in Odisha can now be done online, hence physical visit to the Tehsil office shall not be required.
Now, one can can apply online for land demarcation and get a date. On the assigned day, the Tehsil Officer, Amin and the police will reach the spot and demarcate the land. To apply, one needs to go to the online site of the Revenue Department and apply online.
One will then have to register the mobile number and apply for demarcation. Then will have to pay the fee along with the required land papers. After submitting the application, the Tehsildar will check your application and send the date to your mobile number.
The date fixed will be intimated via SMS. On that day, the Tehsil Officer and Amin will reach the spot and demarcate the land. This information was given in a two-day conference of Revenue Department officers.
