A female guest lecturer of the Government Women's College in Keonjhar was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her male friend’s house today.

The deceased guest lecturer has been identified as Priyanka Das of Talapada village in Balasore district. She was appointed as Home Science lecturer at the Keonjhar Govt. Women’s College.
As alleged by Hemendra Prasad Das, the fraternal uncle of Priyanka, they got a call from an unknown number and the caller identified himself as her colleague, who informed them that she accidentally fell on ground while locking her house and died on the spot.
However, we suspect that she has been killed by someone as after reaching here we found some injury marks on her neck; he alleged adding that the police should probe the matter and take stringent action against the accused who is involved in Priyanka’s death.
Meanwhile, Hemendra lodge a complaint at the Keonjhar Sadar Police station seeking the arrest of the accused. Based on this, cops detained Priyanka’s male friend Rudra Narayan Mishra for interrogation over her mysterious death.
Police also sent the Priyanka’s body for postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of her death.
