JTWC Issues Cyclone Alert for BoB, IMD forecasts deep depression
The deep depression is likely to form at the Bay of Bengal predicted the IMD however, the JTWC has issued a cyclone alert over BoB.
Bhubaneswar: The Joint Typhoon Warning Centre (JTWC) has forecast that the deep depression is likely to develop into a cyclone. However, IMD is yet to say anything in this relation.
The deep depression is likely to form at the Bay of Bengal predicted the IMD. But the JTWC has issued a cyclone alert for Bay of Bengal unlike the IMD.
JTWC issues cyclone alert for Bay of Bengal while the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts that the system in the Bay of Bengal will strengthen into a Deep Depression, the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) has issued an alert indicating the potential formation of a Tropical Cyclone.
Unlike the IMD’s outlook, JTWC suggests that the disturbance may intensify further and reach cyclone strength in the coming days.
