Bhubaneswar: Jay Dholkia, the son of former Nuapada MLA Rajendra Dholkia officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday. He joined the Saffron party at the state BJP office in presence of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, State BJP chief Manmohan Samal, Deputy Chief Minister KV Singhdeo, Minister Suryavanshi Suraj, senior BJP leader Basanta Panda, Jaynarayan Mishra and other senior BJP leaders and hundreds of BJP workers.
Jay Dholkia has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, the ruling party of Odisha ahead of the Nuapada By-election which can be seen as a turning point in the state politics because his father late Rajendra Dholkia was MLA of Nuapada constituency after winning the election from BJD ticket.
