Rourkela: Illegal firecrackers worth more than Rs 1 crore have been seized in Sundargarh district of Odisha on Tuesday. The seizure took place in Biramitrapur.

As per reports, on the orders of Sundergarh SP, the Biramitrapur police station personnel conducted raids at the houses of two illegal firecracker traders in the Golbazar area of ​​Biramitrapur today.

During this raid, firecrackers worth more than Rs 1 crore which had been illegally stored, were seized by Police.

It is to be noted that the Biramitrapur police team conducted two raids yesterday and today.

In this raid Biramitrapur police seized 545 boxes of firecrackers and 17 vehicles filled with firecrackers.

Three cases have been registered in this connection and two traders have been detained at the Biramitrapur police station.
