IIC attacked in Baliapal police station in Odisha’s Balasore district, watch
The incident has been video recorded in the CCTVs fixed at the Police Station.
Baliapal: The Inspector-in-Charge of Baliapal Police Station in Balasore district of Odisha was allegedly attacked by a youth on Saturday. Accordingly, tension prevailed in the Police Station premises.
As per the information, a youth from Berhampur area had visited his friend’s house in Baliapaal. He later, somehow lost the number plate of his vehicle. Hence, he had gone to Baliapal police station along with another youth to lodge complaint.
However, at the police station an argument erupted between him and the IIC and the youth tried to record a video. Meanwhile he allegedly attacked the IIC and a scuffle erupted between the two.
Accordingly, tension prevailed in the police station for some time. The attacker youth has been detained and is currently in police custody.
We are yet to get response of the youth or the IIC. A few scene has been recorded in the CCTV installed in the police station.
