Government issues restrictions on liquor shops for Bhasani today
Liquor shops will be closed today on orders of the Khurda DM. The Excise dept will be closely following the restriction on liquor.
Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has issued a restriction of the sale of alcohols during Bhasani today. Strict action will be taken if the liquour shops are found to be open.
The Police will be extremely vigilant regarding the sale of alcohols especially the illegal liquor.
Liquor shops will be closed on the orders of the Khurda District Magistrate. The Excise Commissionerate is keeping a strict vigil on retail liquor sale. Steps have been taken for Bhasani from the point of view of law and order. Decisions have been taken so that no one gets into trouble due to drinking liquor.
On the other hand, like every year, this year too, Maa Durga will bid farewell to the temple with great pomp. All the puja committees have made elaborate arrangements to make the Bhasana festival special.
Bhubaneswar will be rocked by traditional music and dance. Extensive arrangements have been made by the Commissionerate Police for this. Restrictions will be imposed on vehicular movement from 2 pm to 12 midnight.
Maa Bhasani will be seen at 4 places in the capital. To prevent chemicals and plastic from entering the river, BMC has created a total of four temporary reservoirs by combining two of its wells, Dayama and Bhargavi.
